ZIP LOCK BAG ICE CREAM

Here is the recipe for Zip lock bag Ice cream.........

2 tablespoons of sugar
1 cup of milk
1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla
6 tablespoons of rock salt
2 pint-size zip lock bags
1 one gallon-size zip lock bag
ice cubs

First, fill the one gallon bag half full of ice and the 6 tablespoons of rock salt, close and sit aside. next, put in to pint-size bag sugar, milk and vanilla. close well and take out as much air as you can. Then, put that bag in the other pint-size bag and close that and take out as much air as you can. This will help from getting salt over your ice cream. now put the pint-size bag in the bag of ice and salt and close that bag well and get out as much air as you can. Now, shake the bag till the ice cream mixture is hard as you can get it cause your hands will get very cold from the ice and salt. Last, take out pint-size bag, wipe it off and put ice cream in a bowl. enjoy!!! Make 1 cup of ice cream. You can double it but no more then that in one pint-size bag.

Making icecream

making icecream

Happy belated 4Th of July to everyone. I hope it was all well for you as it was great for all of us Klops in Idaho. We went up to Cascade, Idaho for the weekend for a Softball Tournament and some camping. The kids loved being in Cascade lake the whole time. We really could not get Zoey out of the water. Then we watched A.J. play a little softball with a team that asked him to come with them to play. The team won 2nd place. Way to go BOYS!! Then on the evening of the 4th we went down to the lake to watch some fire works. Zoey thought it was cool but Andy I have no idea if he liked it or not cause he fell asleep in the middle of it. Then we made some ice cream in a zip lock bag. The kids thought that was cool to have icecream while we are camping. They also learned that when you make it your hands get very very very cold. I will post the recipe soon. All in all we had a great weekend and cannot wait to do some more camping.

Getting ready for Girl Scout Camp

Here is a picture of Zoey at the Dr. Office getting ready to do a camp physical . We thought is would be funny to take this picture and also laugh about it in the further. We leave for Girl Scout camp in 6 days and cannot wait to be up in McCall, Idaho for a week away from the boys.
